Ilford HP5 Plus 400 Black & White Film (135/36)

Ilford HP5 Plus is a black and white negative film built on a classic emulsion. It is at its best on fast-moving subjects in decent light, and it is an excellent general-purpose film.

Rated ISO 400 in daylight, it is fine grained with good edge and overall sharpness — the qualities that produce high-quality images and prints with a full range of mid-tones.

Extend development in the right developer and HP5 Plus pushes to 3200 while still holding shadow detail and separating mid-tones cleanly.
